Bradley Offers TerreonRE Recycled Solid Surface Material
Bradley introduced TerreonRE, a recycled solid surface material that has all of the features of Terreon Solid Surface with the added benefit of 25 percent pre-consumer recycled granules and eight percent rapidly renewable material, which can count toward LEED credits.
Many of the environmental benefits of Terreon products come from an efficient manufacturing processes and the longevity of the materials. More than 96 percent of all Terreon products are completely molded. According to the company this eliminates fabrication waste and the use of sealants and adhesives for completely molded designs.
The company states that the material can easily be repaired and renewed, minimizing the need for replacement or disposal. And it meets the highest industry quality and performance standard for solid surface materials, ANSI/ICPA SS-1-2001.
TerreonRE is GREENGUARD Certified for Indoor Air Quality and Indoor Air Quality for Children & Schools. It is composed of a non-toxic, bio-based, resin and produces virtually no “off-gassing” of volatile organic compounds. TerreonRE is a nonporous material which means that it will not support the growth of mold, mildew or bacteria. Pigments used to manufacture Terreon and TerreonRE are free from heavy metals and toxic or carcinogenic ingredients.
