IceStone Releases Health Product Declaration for its Recycled Glass Surfaces

Pearl Grey is just one color of IceStone for which an HPD was issued recently.

IceStone LLC released a health product declaration (HPD) for its line of recycled glass and cement surfaces. The HPD is a standardized reporting tool that discloses product ingredients, allowing specifiers and consumers to make informed buying decisions. Although the HPD program only began in 2012, the company’s commitment to openness and  healthy ingredients has been a motivation behind product development since its founding in 2003. The HPD is a complement to IceStone’s Cradle to Cradle™ certification that is an assessment for a company’s carbon management, material health and reutilization, renewable energy, social responsibility and water stewarship.
